Shigetoshi Ohgo

…Ogo-go is a vast area with Ogo-cho on its northern border, stretching between and to the north of the old Tone River channel (present-day Momoki-gawa and Hirose-gawa), from Kozuka and Mimata in Maebashi City to Utsubo and Koyahara. Ogo Shigetoshi, a descendant of Fujiwara no Hidesato, established his roots here from the end of the Heian period, promoted development, and played an active role as a retainer of the Kamakura Shogunate.
