...In 1926, "Spring Dance" became popular and formed the basis of the theater company. In 1934, when they expanded into the Osaka Theater in Sennichimae, they changed their name to Osaka Shochiku Girls' Opera Company (OSSK) and split into Matsu-gumi and Take-gumi. In response to the movement in Osaka, the Tokyo Shochiku Musical Drama Division was born in 1928.
