Ochotona princeps (English name) Ochotonaprinceps

…A general term for mammals belonging to the genus Ochotona and the family Ochotonidae in the order Lagomorpha, or a single species of the genus. There are 17 species in this family, including the Rocky Pika ( Ochotona princeps ) and the Himalayan Pika (O. roylei ), distributed in Asia and North America, all of which are very similar. This family is a primitive, small rabbit, but its ears are small and round, about 2 cm long, and its appearance is more similar to that of a guinea pig, a rodent, than to a rabbit.
