Tomb of Wang Jian

Japanese: 王建墓 - おうけんぼ（英語表記）Wang Jian mu

Also known as Yongling, this is the tomb of Wang Jian (died 918), King of Former Shu, located outside the Laoximen of Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China. It was excavated in 1942-43. It is a circular tomb with a current height of about 15m and a diameter of about 80m. The base of the tomb is surrounded by nine layers of stonework, with three rows of brick foundations around the perimeter. The tomb chamber is built in the center of the tomb with a rectangular block of red sandstone, and is 23.4m long, 3.8-6.1m wide, and 7.45m high. The interior is divided into three chambers, with the coffin floor in the middle chamber. Excavated items include a statue of Wang Jian, a mourning tablet made of minced jade, and a posthumous tablet.

永陵ともいう。中国四川省成都老西門外にある前蜀王王建 (918没) の墓。 1942～43年に発掘調査された。現高約 15m，径約 80mの円墳。墳裾は9層の石積みで囲まれ，その外周に3条の磚基がめぐっている。墓室は墳中央に紅砂岩の長方形ブロックで築造され，長さ 23.4m，幅 3.8～6.1m，高さは 7.45mにも達する。内部は3室に分れ中室に棺床がある。出土物は王建の像，珉玉製の哀冊，諡冊などである。
