[1] A Nichiren sect temple in Nishi-Nippori, Arakawa Ward, Tokyo. Founded by Nichicho. In 1803, the head priest, Nichido, was executed for indulging in lust after gathering women for prayers. [2] Kabuki. Sewamono. Seven acts. Written by Kawatake Mokuami. Original title: Jitsugetsu Seikyouwasetan (Sun, Moon, Stars, Political Discussion) . First performed in 1878 at the Shintomiza Theater in Tokyo. An adaptation of the execution of the head priest of Enmei-in Temple.

[一] 東京都荒川区西日暮里にある日蓮宗の寺。日長の開基。享和三年(一八〇三)住職の日道が祈祷に事寄せて婦人を集め、淫欲にふけったため、死刑に処された。[二] 歌舞伎。世話物。七幕。河竹黙阿彌作。本名題「日月星享和政談(じつげつせいきょうわせいだん)」。明治一一年(一八七八)東京新富座初演。延命院住職の処刑事件を脚色。
