N.S. Party - N.S. Party

…A revolutionary party in Russia in the 20th century. Its official name was Partiya Sotsialistov-Revolyutsionerov. In the late 1890s, people who sought to revive the traditions of the revolutionary Narodnik movement in the new circumstances began to call themselves "Socialists-Revolutionaries," or SRs. Among them, the SR Alliance led by Andrei Aleksandrovich Argunov (1866-1939), who aimed to restore the power of terror, and the early SR Party, which did not reject peasant maneuvers and aimed to unite organizations, decided to merge in December 1901 through discussions held abroad by Gershuny, Mariya Frolovna Selyuk (1872-?), Azev, and others, and exiles joined them to form the party. …
