The Yenisei people are natives of the middle and lower reaches of the Yenisei River in Western Siberia, Russia. They were formerly known as the Yenisei Ostyaks or Yeniseis. During the Soviet era, they worked in collective farms and engaged in various agricultural and livestock activities.
