Corydalis angustifolia - Corydalis angustifolia

A perennial plant of the Papaveraceae (APG classification: Papaveraceae). Flower stalks grow from tubers 1-2 cm in diameter and reach a height of 10-30 cm. The leaves are 1-2 times trifoliate and compound. Bilaterally symmetrical bluish-purple flowers bloom in racemes from April to May. It grows on forest edges and cultivated land from the northern Chubu region to Hokkaido, and is distributed in the southern Kuril Islands, Sakhalin, and the coast of Okhotsk.

ケシ科（APG分類：ケシ科）の多年草。直径1～2センチメートルの塊茎から花茎を伸ばし、高さ10～30センチメートル。葉は1～2回3出複葉。4～5月、総状花序に左右相称の碧紫(へきし)色の花を開く。中部地方北部から北海道にかけての林縁や開墾地に生え、南千島、樺太(からふと)（サハリン）、オホーツク沿岸に分布する。
