The period in which business accounting is processed one by one. Also known as a business year. The last day of the fiscal year is called the accounting period, when the final accounts are settled. It does not have to coincide with the calendar year or be a full year, but it is usually a full year. Companies can freely set their business year, but in most cases it runs from April 1st to March 31st of the following year.
