[Treatment]
The focus of treatment is on motor function training, and it is believed that early treatment can promote the brain's compensatory functions, suppress the emergence of abnormal movement and posture patterns, and improve the prognosis (final degree of motor function and posture abnormality). For this reason, rather than waiting for a definitive diagnosis, treatment is now being started in cases where there are significant risk factors for brain damage, and the decision to continue or discontinue treatment is made based on the progress of the patient.
