Born in 1581. The second son of Unkoku Togao. He moved with his father from Aki (Hiroshima Prefecture) to Hagi, Nagato (Yamaguchi Prefecture) and served the Mori family. After his brother Toya died young, he took over in 1521 and worked to maintain the Unkoku school. He was called the 4th Sesshu. He died on February 14, 1628. He was 54 years old.
