The Kobo Well, a representative example of a Japanese legend, is a miracle story in which holy water gushed forth when Kobo Daishi struck the well with his walking stick, and Ubagai Well is accompanied by a legend of a wet nurse who accidentally killed her child and drowned herself in it.
