Unazuki Onsen Incident

In Japan, the doctrine of abuse of rights was established in a precedent in the Unazuki Onsen case (1935 judgment) in 1935. This was a case in which a person who had a wooden pipe running from the bath source through a small part of the land without permission tried to sell the 6.6 square meters of land at a high price to a person who refused, and so the person demanded the removal of the wooden pipe based on the land ownership.
