Utsunomiya Castle Town

[Utsunomiya Castle Town]
A castle town in Shimotsuke Province, it was a strategic location in northern Kanto where the powerful feudal lords of the Tokugawa clan were stationed. It was a post station where the Nikko and Oshu roads branched off.
