...In Japan, there are four species of birds, from the largest to the smallest: the Northern Goshawk (illustration), the Northern Sparrowhawk (illustration), the Red-breasted Bunting, and the Sparrowhawk (illustration). They hunt birds in forests and on the forest edges. The African Song Goshawk, Melierax metabates , lives in the savanna and waits for prey by perching on trees. It is famous for its beautiful, vocal cries.
