White clay (a white clay whose main components are kaolin and montmorillonite) that has been treated with acid to increase its activity. It is used for adsorption, decolorization, etc. It is made by heating acid white clay or a similar clay with 20-40% sulfuric acid at 90°C or above for 1-5 hours, washing with water and then drying (120-200°C). There are various patents for the manufacturing process depending on the raw materials and the product's use.
