A country in Southeast Asia. Official name is the Republic of Indonesia. It consists of the Sunda Islands, including Sumatra, Java, and Bali, Kalimantan and Sulawesi, the Maluku Islands, and the western half of New Guinea. The capital is Jakarta. Most of the residents are Muslim.
