(1) Indian plough: A plough in which the head is integrated with the sole and handle, with a straight shaft extending from above the bend where the head changes into the sole, and connected to a yoke for two oxen for pulling. Its distribution range is centered in the Indian subcontinent, and it is found throughout the subcontinent except for the winter rain arid region at the western end.
