Intervision - Intervision (English spelling)

Founded in 1960 by the Organization for International Broadcasting (OIRT), an organization made up of broadcasting organizations from socialist countries, mainly the former Soviet Union and Eastern European countries, OIRT is an organization for the exchange and relay of television programs and news materials. The exchange of news materials began irregularly in 1964, and became a daily event in 1970. From 1965 onwards, there was also an exchange of programs and news materials with Eurovision, a television relay organization between Western European countries, but in 1993 OIRT was absorbed into the European Broadcasting Union, and the organization was dissolved.

旧ソ連、東欧諸国を中心として社会主義諸国の放送機関で組織した国際放送機構（OIRT）が、1960年に設立したテレビ番組やニュース素材の交換、中継組織。ニュース素材の交換は64年から不定期で始められ、70年から毎日行われるようになった。また65年以降、西欧諸国間のテレビ中継組織ユーロビジョンとの番組、ニュース素材の交換も行われたが、93年、国際放送機構がヨーロッパ放送連合に吸収されたため、組織は消滅した。
