Iwate National Vacation Village - Iwate Sanroku National Vacation Village

Japanese: 岩手山麓国民休暇村 - いわてさんろくこくみんきゅうかむら

...Simple sulfur spring, 82°C. Formerly a hot spring resort, it was established as a national vacation village at the foot of Mt. Iwate in 1965, and a national ski resort was developed. It has developed into a resort with a campground and tennis courts, and many people visit throughout the year. It has a great view of the Shizukuishi Basin and Koiwai Farm, and the genbudo cave over the nearby Katsukoda River has been designated a natural monument as the Katsukoda Oiwaya.
