Color separation : In photoengraving, the colors of the original are separated into three colors (yellow, red, and blue) according to the composition of the primary inks, or four colors (CMYK) including black, and each is transferred onto a film master. Also, on computer displays and color televisions, the original colors are separated into red, blue, and green (RGB) to obtain three images.
