Okinawan cuisine in which ingredients are stir-fried in oil. In particular, in hot Okinawa, food (ingredients) are often stir-fried in oil to make food last longer. Typical dishes include kubu (kelp) irichi, sunshi (shinachiku) irichi, kanpyo irichi, ukara (okara) irichi, dekuni (daikon) irichi, and chikina (takana) irichi, and many others are made as home-cooked dishes. There are no specific ingredients, but if kelp is the main ingredient, it will be called kubu irichi, and if daikon is the main ingredient, it will be called dekuni irichi.
