This shrine is located in Ogawara-machi, Shibata-gun, Miyagi Prefecture. It is said to have been founded during the reign of Emperor Bidatsu. The deities enshrined are Yamato Takeru no Mikoto and Emperor Yomei. Cultural properties include a gusset with the date 1293 (Shoo 6) (a nationally designated important cultural property) and a Nanban iron torii gate.
