Land with the same characteristics can be found all over the country, and is known by such names as tatari-chi, noroi-chi, toshi-yama, bachi-yama, irazu-yama, iwai-yama, kisho-yama, yamaida, kechi-da, buku-da, yan-hata, and toshi-hata.
