...A lithic culture defined by JL Giddings based on research at the Iyatayet site located at Cape Denbigh, which juts out into Norton Sound in western Alaska. It is now considered an important component of the Far North Small Stone Tool Tradition (2300-1000 BC). Characteristic remains of this culture include microlith cores, microblades, burins, burin spalls, blade inserts, harpoon heads, and scrapers.
