Located in Dunedin, a city in the southern part of New Zealand's South Island, this historic university was founded in 1869 and opened in 1871. Dunedin is known as the "university town" because of this university. It is famous for its Gothic-style building with a clocktower, and together with the large gardens surrounded by greenery, it exudes a British atmosphere. Not only is it known for its beautiful campus, but it is also an authority in medicine, dentistry, and oceanography.
