In fact, Sharia specifically regulates not only the religious life of each Muslim, but also their worldly and secular life. Its contents include ritual norms (ibadat) on purification, repentance, prayer, zakat, fasting, pilgrimage, funeral customs, and legal norms (mu'amarat) on marriage, divorce, parent-child relationships, inheritance, slaves and freemen, contracts, buying and selling, oaths, testimony, waqf (donated property), litigation, trials, the rights and obligations of non-Muslims, crimes and punishments, and war, both public and private. As such, Sharia is not limited to certain people, but is a norm that applies equally to all members of the community, except for minors and incompetent persons.
