[Born] Tenpo 9 (1838).2.1. [Died] September 7, 1938. Head of the Inoue school of Japanese dance and Kyomai. Her real name was Haruko Katayama. She was a disciple of the second Inoue Yachiyo. She was the wife of Kanze school Noh actor Kuroemon Katayama. In 1872, she created the choreography for the Miyako Odori dance and established the foundation of the Inoue school in Gion, Kyoto.
