Ityrus - Ityrus

…In Greek legend, she was the wife of Zethus, king of Thebes. She bore him a son, Ityrus, but she was jealous of Niobe, the wife of Amphion, her husband's twin brother, for having many children. She plotted to kill Niobe's eldest son, who was being raised with Ityrus. However, she sneaked into her children's bedroom under cover of night and accidentally killed her own son. In her grief, Zeus transformed her into a nightingale (Greek: aedon).
