Naouji Isshiki

Japanese: 一色直氏 - いっしき なおうじ
Naouji Isshiki
?-? A military commander during the Nanboku-cho period.
Son of Noriuji Isshiki. In 1346, he was ordered by Takauji Ashikaga to subjugate Kyushu and became the Kyushu tandai in place of his father. He fought against Yorihisa Shoni and Takemitsu Kikuchi, but was defeated, and in 13th year of the Shohei era, he retreated to Kyoto.

一色範氏(のりうじ)の子。足利尊氏の命をうけ,貞和(じょうわ)2=興国7年(1346)九州平定におもむき,父にかわり九州探題となる。少弐頼尚(しょうに-よりひさ),菊池武光らとたたかい敗れ,延文3=正平(しょうへい)13年京都にひきあげた。
