"One-eyed Country"

...A type that makes the reader think about the refusal to buy a mirror and look at his face. A type that ends in the opposite way, as in "Ichigankoku," where a man who falls upside down captures a one-eyed boy and goes out to make a spectacle of him, only to end up being made a spectacle in the land of one eye. A type that ends in the opposite way, as in "Ichigankoku," where the protagonist tries to add more candles to represent his own lifespan, but then collapses, saying, "Oh, it's going to disappear," in the form of the Grim Reaper.
