Heretic - Itanshagou

...There have been many tragedies of shipwrecks in both the East and the West since ancient times. Drifting can be divided into those for academic purposes and those due to accidents at sea. The former is well-known in 1947 when T. Heyerdahl attempted to cross the Pacific Ocean in a raft he named "Kon-Tiki" to prove his anthropological theory ("The Kon-Tiki Expedition"). In 1952, Alain Bombard succeeded in drifting alone across the Atlantic Ocean in a rubber boat he named "The Heretic" by eating only fish and plankton, sating his thirst with seawater and rainwater ("Experimental Drifting").
