Isoquinoline alkaloids

A general term for a group of alkaloids that are structurally considered to be derivatives of isoquinoline. In addition to opium alkaloids, ipecac alkaloids, and Menispermaceae alkaloids, there are a great many types found in various plants. Structurally, the majority of alkaloids start from benzylisoquinoline, and the following groups are formed through various intramolecular or intermolecular bonds.
(1) Benzylisoquinoline type: Papaverine, narcotine, hydrastine, etc.
(2) Berberine or protoberberine type: berberine, corydalin, sanguinarine, etc.
(3) Cleaved berberine type (protopine type): cryptopine, protopine, etc.
(4) Aporphine type: Apomorphine, glaucine, etc.
(5) Morphine type: Morphine.
Furthermore, if two molecules of benzylisoquinoline are ether-bonded,
(6) It is a bisbenzylisoquinoline type, and various types arise depending on this bonding pattern (daliusine, berbamine, trilobin, etc.). Emetine is considered to be an isoquinoline alkaloid produced from two molecules of phenethylamine and one molecule of terpene.

構造上，イソキノリンの誘導体とみなされる一群のアルカロイドの総称．アヘンアルカロイド，吐根アルカロイド，およびツヅラフジ科アルカロイドなどのほか，各種植物にその種類は非常に多い．構造的にベンジルイソキノリンを出発点としたものがもっとも多く，さらにさまざまな分子内結合，あるいは分子間の結合によって次の各群が生じる．
(1)ベンジルイソキノリン型：パパベリン，ナルコチン，ヒドラスチンなど．
(2)ベルベリンあるいはプロトベルベリン型：ベルベリン，コリダリン，サンギナリンなど．
(3)開裂ベルベリン型(プロトピン型)：クリプトピン，プロトピンなど．
(4)アポルフィン型：アポモルヒネ，グラウシンなど．
(5)モルヒネ型：モルヒネ．
さらにベンジルイソキノリンが2分子エーテル結合すれば，
(6)ビスベンジルイソキノリン型
となり，この結合様式によってさまざまな種類が生じる(ダリウシン，ベルバミン，トリロビンなど)．エメチンは2分子のフェネチルアミンと1分子のテルペンより生成するイソキノリンアルカロイドとみなされる．
