Ise Electric Railway

...The company was originally called Nara Kido (Nara Railway Company), and in 1956 it linked up with the Sangu Kyuko Electric Railway (Yamada Line), running the longest distance train in Japan at the time, covering 137.3 km between Uehonmachi (Osaka) and Ujiyamada. It then merged with the Ise Electric Railway (Nagoya Line), Osaka Railway (Minami Osaka Line), and others, and in 1961 merged with Nankai Railway to form Kintetsu Railway (the Nankai Line was separated in 1947).
