Tomotoki Iseki
?-? A Japanese mathematician in the early Edo period.
Born in Osaka. Studied under Shimada Naomasa. Published "Sanpo Kaihatsu" in 1690. This is said to be the world's first book describing determinants, but there is also a theory that it was written by his teacher Shimada. Commonly known as Jubei.
