Izumo style

Representative examples include the Kagura of the Kasuga Grand Shrine and the Morning and Evening Kagura of the Miho Shrine. (2) Torimono Kagura and Noh Kagura are often paired, and the oldest example is the Shichiza Shinji and Shinnoh (Sada Shinnoh) of the Sada Shrine in Izumo. This style is called the Izumo style and first appeared in the late Middle Ages to early modern times. This style is the most widely distributed, but Takachiho Kagura leans toward Torimono Kagura, and Edo Sato Kagura leans toward Noh, as it sets up all the myths in a silent drama.
