Monogenetic volcano

Japanese: monogenetic volcano(英語表記)monogeneticvolcano
Monogenetic volcano

[Monogenetic and polygenetic volcanoes]
The type of volcano (size, structure, shape) is determined by both (1) the nature of the eruption, i.e., the viscosity and volume of magma, the type and duration of the eruption, and the shape of the crater (point or fissure), and (2) the environment in which the eruption occurred, i.e., whether it was underwater, under the atmosphere, or in a low-gravity field such as on the moon. Of these, the biggest difference in type of volcano is whether it is a monogenetic volcano formed by one eruption or a polygenetic volcano formed by multiple eruptions in (1), and whether it is under the atmosphere or under the water in (2). Below, we will mainly explain land volcanoes.
