"Izumo no Kuni Fudoki"

...In the Kenyo-ryo of the Ritsuryo-shu-kai, which was compiled around the Jōgan period (859-877), there are examples where fūdo and chūō are considered to be the same. However, in addition to the Wadō-do, there is also the Izumo-no-kuni fūdoki, which was compiled 20 years later in 733 (Tenpyō 5). This was mainly edited by the Settushi, and it appears to be a highly practical geography book with military elements added. Although it is somewhat different from the Wadō-fudoki, the works from this period (such as the fūdoki of Bungo and Hizen) are also called the Ko-fudoki. ...
