Absorption relationship

For example, cases that fall under both breach of trust (Article 247 of the Penal Code) and special breach of trust (Article 486 and following of the Commercial Code) (called a "special relationship"); cases that fall under both arson of an inhabited building (Article 108 of the Penal Code) and arson of a non-inhabited building (Article 109, paragraph 1) (called a "supplementary relationship"); cases that fall under both kidnapping of a minor (Article 224) and kidnapping for profit (Article 225) (called an "alternative relationship"); cases that fall under both robbery (Article 236) and assault (Article 208) (called an "absorption relationship"). In all cases, only one crime is established: special breach of trust, arson of an inhabited building, kidnapping for profit, or robbery.
