...The cause of this was said to be environmental factors resulting from the change in lifestyle that occurred during the transition from the hunting lifestyle of the Jomon period to an agricultural lifestyle. Kaneseki Tsuyoshi excavated and investigated many Yayoi human bones in northern Kyushu and the Yamaguchi region, and the Yayoi human bones excavated from the Mitsu site in Saga Prefecture and the Doigahama site in Yamaguchi Prefecture are representative examples.
