Sogobunin (referee of the priesthood)

A list of monks appointed as soko between the 32nd year of the reign of Suiko (624) and the 1st year of Koji (1142). 6 volumes (Kofuku-ji version). Editor unknown. Notes are provided for each year on the first appointment of soko, their promotion, death, and from the 4th year of Jowa (837) onwards, on the lecturer of Kofuku-ji Temple, Yuma-e, who was closely related to the appointments of soko. A basic historical source for biographical research on monks. In addition to the Kofuku-ji version, there are several other books with the same title.
