Ionization voltage - Ion cadence

[ I ] Ionization voltage. [Synonym] Ionization potential. [ II ] Ionizing voltage. This refers to the accelerating voltage that gives energy to electrons in order to ionize gas or vapor by electron bombardment in a mass spectrometer. In quantitative analysis, a voltage of 50 to 100 V is used, since the ratio of fragment ions produced during ionization does not change much with electron energy.

【Ⅰ】ionization voltage．[同義異語]イオン化電位【Ⅱ】ionizing voltage．質量分析計で電子衝撃により気体または蒸気をイオン化するために，電子にエネルギーを与える加速電圧をいう．定量分析ではイオン化に伴う断片イオン生成の比率が電子エネルギーによりあまり変化しない50～100 V が使用される．
