Antwerp [province] - Antwerp

…In the Middle Ages, it was the westernmost state of the Holy Roman Empire, forming the Duchy of Brabant. It is now made up of the Belgian provinces of Brabant and Antwerp, and the Dutch province of North Brabant. The southern half of the Belgian province of Brabant, which is in the French-speaking region, and Brussels, where French and Dutch are the official languages, are the Dutch language, and the majority of the inhabitants, including those in the Dutch territories, are Catholic.
