In the early 16th century, he was driven out of Yatsushiro Koro Castle, and was welcomed by the Uto clan, a relative of Uto Tamemitsu, after his death, and moved his base to Uto Castle in Nishiokadai, Uto (present-day Nishiokadai, Uto City).
