…It consists of two groups of six islands: the A, B, C, and D islands, Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao, off the northern coast of Venezuela, and the Leeward islands, St. Maarten (Saint Martin), Saba, and St. Eustatius, east of Puerto Rico. Dutch is the official language, but a mixture of European and African languages, called Papiamento, is spoken.
