Altai mine - Altaic mine

…Tellurium occurs rarely as the elemental mineral tellurium, but is more commonly found as a compound of gold, silver, copper, lead, iron, and bismuth, and is found in a wide variety of minerals. The main types include sylvanite (AuAgTe _{4 )} , calaverite (AuTe _{2 )} , krennerite (AuTe _{2 )} , petzite (AuAg ₃ Te _{2 )} , hessite (Ag ₂ Te), tetradymite (Bi ₂ Te ₂ S), altaite (PbTe), coloradoite (HgTe), rickardite (Cu ₄ Te ₃ ), and the oxide mineral tellurite (TeO ₂ ). The so-called tellurium gold ores, which are important as gold ores, are composed of silver-bearing gold telluride minerals such as calaverite, krennelite, and needle tellurite, and occur in shallow to mesothermal gold-silver veins together with native gold and other silver minerals.
