…(1) Kabuki Kyogen. Sewamono (domestic drama). Four acts, seven scenes. Written by Chikamatsu Tokuzō. First performed in July 1796 (Kansei 8) at the Fujikawa Hachizō-za in Osaka (Kado no Shibai). Fukuoka Mitsugu is played by Nakayama Bunshichi II, and Aburaya Onkon by Yoshizawa Iroha I. It is a dramatization of a murder that took place in the Ise Furuichi brothel in May of the same year. The same month, a dramatization of the same subject, Ise Miyage Shobu-gatana (Ise Souvenir Iris Sword), was performed in Matsuzaka, Ise, and in August, in parallel with this work, Nakagawa Atssuke's Ise Miyage Kawasaki Odori-byoshi (Ise Miyage Kawasaki Dance Beat) was performed at the Kyoto Yamashita Hidejirō-za. …

…(1)歌舞伎狂言。世話物。4幕7場。近松徳三作。1796年(寛政8)7月大坂藤川八蔵座(角の芝居)初演。福岡貢を2世中山文七，油屋お紺を初世芳沢いろは。同年5月に伊勢古市の遊廓で起こった殺人事件を脚色したもので，すでに同月には同じ題材を劇化した《伊勢土産菖蒲刀（いせみやげしようぶがたな）》が伊勢松坂で演ぜられ，また，8月には本作と並行して京山下秀次郎座で奈河篤助作の《いせみやげ川崎踊拍子（かわさきおんど）》が出されている。…
