Died in 1552. A French music publisher in Paris. He invented a printing method that combined musical notes and staves into a single typeface, and published many collections of music between 1525 and 1550. These are valuable sources of French polyphonic chansons, motets, lute music, especially dance music, and organ music from the first half of the 16th century.
