A town in the province of Bari in the Puglia region in southeastern Italy. It is located about 50 km southeast of Bari. The distinctive rows of round-roofed houses called trulli were registered as a cultural heritage of the World Heritage Sites in 1996. The main industries other than tourism are agriculture, machine building and wax product manufacturing. Population is about 10,000.
