Ategi - Ategi

…A type of splint used primarily to immobilize fractures and sprains. It is named after the wooden boards that were used as splints in ancient times. Nowadays, wooden splints are often used only for emergency treatment, as they do not have the plasticity to conform to the shape of the limb.
